As admission season comes upon us, it might help to dispel certain preconceived notions so you know what you are getting yourself into. One of our tutors shares their story with their admissions:
"I began hearing of admissions opening in September and found out that you can apply for early acceptance if you were to do so in early October to maybe early November. The only thing is that they would be checking your grade eleven marks since you haven't completed the full twelfth year. You can't get rejected based on the grades from the previous year but to gain early acceptance you would have to meet the requirements. There isn't much of a difference if you choose to opt for early acceptance, I got my acceptance in December and surprised my parents for Christmas that I had gotten in. A friend of mine waited until January to submit hers because she didn't want to have her grade eleven marks counted towards it, so she got the acceptance back in early March. Another peer submitted early and got an acceptance in March. There are many different scenarios in which you may It all depends on how confident you feel in your grades as well as the competitive nature of the program you are applying to. It's definitely preference and I would also recommend applying to a wide variety of schools"
Good luck to all the applicants!
